Schumpeter in the twenty-first century: Creative destruction and the global green shift

Professor Emeritus John A. Mathews has contributed one chapter to the newly published book “Schumpeter’s Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy: A Twenty First Century Agenda” edited by Rainer Kattel at UCL London and Leonardo Burlamaqui at UERJ in Rio, Brazil.

In his chapter, “Schumpeter in the twenty-first century: Creative destruction and the globalgreen shift”, Professor Emeritus Mathews argues that Schumpeter’s insights in CDS (Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy) provides the best and the most plausible theoretical explanation to the current realities of global green shift with China emerging as the lead country.
